Aetna’s Medicare Value Plan HMO package has a premium of $0 per month. A $20 copay is required for any visit to a primary care physician when the physician is informed. To visit a specialist, members must pay $40 copay and members receive one annual physical exam and one annual eye exam.  There is $200 copay per days 1-8 for inpatient hospital care and $250 of copay per outpatient visit.

Another Aetna plan is the Medicare Premier Plan HMO, which requires a premium of $74 per month.  When a primary care doctor is notified, primary care visits require $5 copay. In the case of any specialist visits, there is $25 copay and members receive one annual physical exam and one annual eye exam.  There is $150 copay per the first five days of any inpatient hospital care and $150 of copay per outpatient visit.

Yet another popular Aetna plan is the Medicare Standard Plan PPO, which has a monthly premium of $103. Primary care visits require $15 copay so long as the primary care doctor is informed of the appointment.  Appointments with a specialist involve $35 copay and members receive one annual physical exam and one annual eye exam. During the first five days of inpatient hospital care, you must pay $200 copay for inpatient hospital care and $200 copay or per outpatient visit.

Humana Medicare began marketing health insurance products in 1984.  The monthly premiums for Humana’s plans range from $0-$69. 

Medicare Supplement Plan C covers Hospitalization, Medical Expenses, Skilled Nursing facilities, and travel-abroad medical emergency help.  Plan F offers basic copay coverage as well as Part A hospital deductible, skilled nursing facility copays, Part B deductible and emergency international coverage.

Mutual of Omaha’s Supplement Plan F has a monthly premium of $199.64 and is accepted by all doctors who accept Medicare.   Mutual of Omaha’s Plan C has a monthly premium of $197.63 and is also accepted by doctors who accept Medicare.
