North Dakota Medicare

The AARP Medicare Rx plan, insured through UnitedHealthCare, is a Medicare Part D plan that offers simple and reliable coverage to help you manage the costs of prescription drugs. Some benefits of the plan include:

- Drug lists that include brand name prescription drug or its generic version covered by Medicare Part D
- 90-day supply available at retail pharmacies
- Customer care available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Part D helps cover the cost of prescription drugs and can be purchased by anyone enrolled in Medicare. If you are enrolled in Medicare Part A or Part B you can add Part D to your plan. In order to be eligible, you must reside in North Dakota and be over the age of 65.

State Health Insurance Counseling Program (SHIC)
SHIC is a program run by the North Dakota Insurance Department that receives funding from Centers for Medicare.
