Summit Health is a nonprofit organization which operates Chambersburg Hospital and Waynesboro Hospital, and has established itself as Franklin County’s largest health provider and one of the biggest employers outside of the government.Offering a variety of health care plans and specialty products, Summit Health currently offer health plans like preferred provider organization plans (PPOs), health maintenance organization plans (HMOs), point-of-service plans (POS), and Medicare health organization plans.

The plan allows you to utilize to visit every hospital or doctor as long as the provider agrees to the plan’s terms of payment and as long as you qualify for Medicare payments.
