Some of the carriers we represent in the state of Tennessee are United of Omaha and Humana. In order to join a Medicare Advantage or supplement plan with these carriers, you must have both Medicare Part A and B. State Assistance Programs

Tennessee has Medicare coverage for eligible individuals called The Tennessee Plan. This plan is available for any retired state of Tennessee employee or any local education certified teaching staff who is receiving a monthly retirement allowance. You cannot be denied coverage because of your age or health.

The Tennessee Plan covers a program of hospital and medical benefits for those already enrolled in Medicare. It is designed to pay specific deductible and coinsurance amounts that aren't covered by Medicare. The plan provides specific responsibilities and benefits that may never be transferred to another individual. The statements you give on your application will determine the policy you'll receive.
