WellCare Medicare Plans
WellCare Health Plans, Inc. has been a provider of managed care services since 1985. Their focus is on government sponsored healthcare programs, specifically Medicaid and Medicare. They have their headquarters in Tampa, Florida as well as several regional offices. They currently operate in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Texas, as well as providing prescription drug plans in all 50 states.
WellCare offers it members a variety of health plans for families, children, over 50, blind and disabled and those looking for prescription drug plans. As of December 2008, WellCare had served more than 2.5 million members nationwide.

WellCare Access is a program for those who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid and has their Part A and Part B deductibles, coinsurance, and copays covered by Medicaid. WellCare Advance is a medical coverage only option. WellCare Choice is medical coverage, Part D prescription drugs, and a Point-of-Service option. WellCare Dividend offers medical coverage, Part D prescription drugs, and a point-of-service option, while also reducing the Medicare Part B premium. WellCare Premium and WellCare Value offer both medical coverage and Part D prescription drugs. WellCare Select is intended for those who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid but has qualification requirements, our Medicare Specialists can help you determine if you are eligible.
