Windsor Health Group is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee area town Brentwood. They also have locations throughout Memphis and Jackson, TN, Little Rock, AR, and Jackson, MS. They have been helping provide health insurance since 1993. They offer Medicare Advantage insurance plans in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, and take part in the TennCare Medicare program located in central Tennessee. They also offer their Windsor Rx plans which are prescription drug only plans in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

Windsor Health Group is a managed healthcare company that operates government sponsored health plans and provides specialty managed care services. Starting in 2003, Windsor Health Group also introduced its Home Care Network. This service provides coordinated homecare to members of other health plans as well as Windsor’s own members. This is made possible through an extensive network of home medical care and equipment producers.

Windsor Health Group offers Medicare Advantage through their MedicareExtra plans. Depending upon which plan you select, virtually all of the “gaps” in Medicare Parts A and B that Medicare supplements have previously filled can now be covered by Windsor Medicare Extra. They offer Gold POS and Diamond POS (Point of Service) Plans. This gives members the option of choosing their own doctors, either in or out of the Windsor service area. Using a doctor out of the Windsor network will cost extra.

They also offer a number of HMO MedicareExtra plans. The Silver Plan offers health and hospital coverage, but does not include pharmacy coverage. The Gold Plan gives you the same benefits associated with the Silver Plan, but also includes prescription drug coverage at an additional low premium. The Emerald Plan covers prescription medication, hospital care, and other medical care without a premium. The Diamond Plan is for those looking for the most inclusive medical coverage, including a prescription medication plan. This plan provides a lot of extras for lower monthly premium than most Medigap plans. The Fusion Plan offers a mental health care in addition to physical health coverage. The Diabetes Plan was created specifically to serve people who have diabetes. The Comp Plus Plan is a coordinated inclusive health insurance plan that includes many extra benefits. This plan is offered exclusively to Arkansas citizens who are considered complete Dual, QMB, QMB Plus, SLMB Plus beneficiaries. The Comprehensive plan is tailored to individuals that receive partial assistance, SLMB, SMB, QDWI, SSI, QI, QI1, while the plan also boasts comprehensive insurance and other extras.

Windsor also offers Windsor Rx, a Medicare Part D sponsor. This gives their members coverage for Medicare approved generic and hundreds of brand name drugs. They also have low copays and there is also a network of over 50,000 participating pharmacies.
